OUR STORY
ROOTED IN KAKHETI
Madli Wines is the Saperavi wine brand of Kakheti Agro LLC, a family-owned vineyard and wine producer rooted in Kondoli, in Georgia's renowned Kakheti wine region. Our Saperavi is produced from grapes grown in our single vineyard, where the distinctive terroir of the Alazani Valley and the character of old vines come together to create wines of depth, structure and identity. The name Madli means gratitude in Georgian — gratitude for the land, the vine, the harvest and the generations of Georgian winemaking tradition that came before us.

Georgia is widely regarded as the birthplace of wine, with a winemaking tradition stretching back more than 8,000 years. At the heart of this extraordinary heritage lies Kakheti, Georgia's most celebrated wine-growing region and the home of our vineyard. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains, Kakheti has cultivated indigenous grape varieties and preserved its winemaking traditions for generations.

Our single vineyard lies in Kondoli, in the heart of one of Georgia's most renowned wine-growing landscapes. It is here that we grow our Saperavi grapes, nurtured by the distinctive soil and climate of Kondoli. Our old vines produce grapes of exceptional character, giving the wine its depth, richness and distinctive expression. For us, the vineyard is more than the source of our grapes. It is the foundation of our wines and the connection between the land of Kakheti and every bottle we produce.
